Kaplan Construction has been building across London since 1998. From our office on Hertford Road in Edmonton we deliver house extensions, loft conversions, full renovations, new builds and commercial projects throughout the capital - with the same in-house team and the same project manager from first survey to final sign-off.

London's housing stock is unusually varied - Victorian and Edwardian terraces, interwar semis, mansion blocks, mews houses and modern infill - and each type carries its own structural realities and planning constraints. Because we've worked across the capital for over two decades, we design and price for the property in front of us rather than a generic template: side-return extensions on terraces, dormer and mansard lofts, structural alterations, and ground-up new builds.

Planning in London is borough-by-borough, and much of the capital sits inside conservation areas or under Article 4 directions where permitted development rights are restricted. We manage the planning application, party wall notices and building control submissions as part of the job, so the paperwork is handled by the people actually doing the build.
